Virtual Cooking Classes

Everyone is cooking more at home these days, and virtual cooking classes are perfect for one-on-one instruction, small family parties, children-friendly activities, date nights, and gatherings with intimate groups of friends.  My classes range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes and can be simple demonstrations or interactive. The collection of recipes on this site are some of the most popular dishes for cooking demonstrations. I have conducted several cooking classes at off-site locations including the famous DeGustibus Cooking School and the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.  


I managed a 20+ person kitchen staff and 40+ service staff at the acclaimed Felidia restaurant for almost 25 years.  My management responsibilities included staffing, menus, inventory/ordering, P & L, employee training and discipline.  I also managed two 60-seat Michelin-star restaurants in Milazzo, Sicily plus a 1500-person private event space. I look forward to the day that restaurants and catered events will return to their glory and am available for consulting opportunities in the meantime.  

Catered Events

My catering experience includes private weddings for 70 people at the New York Public Library, 400 people at the New York Botanical Garden, and over 600 people at the Roseland in New York City. Prior to arriving in New York City, I catered both small and large weddings at the one-star Michelin Villa Esperanza in Milazzo, Sicily.  

Recipe Development

I developed recipes and created menu items for restaurants, catered events, magazine articles and cookbooks.
